Bioprocessing and Biofuel Research Laboratory (BBRL), Department of Biology, Auburn University at Montgomery (AUM) is researching in the area of alternative biofuels to power the farm equipment of American farmers who power the nation’s economy. We are also focused on developing sustainable technologies for the production of food and feed that adds value to local agriculture and allied businesses. 

Our philosophy is simple: If we address the local problems or needs, they will have national and global impact. In this pursuit at BBRL we are focused on developing technologies that will provide solutions to local communities.
